PUMPKIN BISCOTTI (FOR DOGS)


2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (15 oz. can) pumpkin puree
1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine dry ingredients and stir until well mixed. Add pumpkin puree, vanilla and milk to dry mix and knead until all ingredients are well mixed.

Form dough into flat logs about 6 inches wide and 1 inch high. Bake on prepared baking sheet for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Cut into 1 inch slices.

Place slices on greased cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the slices are dry and crunchy.
