PARMESAN TWIST ( for dogs)

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 egg
3/4 cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix all ingredients except 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Knead dough until thoroughly mixed. Roll dough into quarter sized balls.
On a lightly floured surface, roll balls into sticks and roll in remaining Parmesan to coat.
Flatten with rolling pin and twist. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 30 minutes. Cool before serving and refrigerate.

I didn't use a rolling pin so mine look a little more rustic. Still cute, though.

My dogs are small so I break them in half for them to share. They love them.
