The bond with a true dog is as lasting as the ties of this earth can ever be. - Konrad Lorenz

God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he'll be there.

These are the stitches from her surgery.

The day after. She is doing much better.

Her "spay day" present.

Dixie had her surgery yesterday. She was spayed, she had two baby teeth pulled, and she had her microchip put in. Poor thing. She went in about 8:00 a.m. and we picked her up at 6:00 p.m. She hasn't had any food or water all day. She is just laying in her crate. I am sure she is feeling just miserable. It's 9 p.m. and time to try and give her some water and food.

She is doing much better today. She has her appetite back and is walking around some.

We bought her a "spay day" present. It's a really pretty shiny black beaded leash. A dog's version of the little black dress. They had some really pretty colors but I thought the black would match her collars and harnesses. It's from, although, I bought hers from Petco.
